NATIONAL KENYA DEFENCE FORCES DAY

Image result for THE KDF DAY      Today is a very great as we celebrate our soldiers for the good work that they do.A dedication to sacrifice their life just to protect our country ,sacrificing their time away from their loved ones (families and friends) which shows the love they have for their country.It is a day that we as Kenyans appreciate the good work that they do.It is this time that we remember the fallen soldiers who have died in the line of duty .Since the Kenya defence forces were deployed in Somalia to fight war against terrorism ,we have lost many soldiers who killed by grenades,others were ambushed by Alshabab militia and were killed by them .

The great efforts that this men and women do keep our borders safe cannot go unrewarded.They have volunteered not to sleep in their houses but to sleep in the dark,not to sleep in their beautiful houses but to sleep in their camp sites ,they have sacrificed their sweet slumber but choose to be awake in the cold at night just to keep our great nation safe .It doesn't matter where the sun is to hot to bear,whether the rain is to heavy,whether the wind is too strong they still do the job entitled to them.

 It doesn't take a week one  for them to become a soldier but it training ,study and discipline for them to be soldiers.
They a ready to die to die in war  but we believe that the soldiers don't die they fade away .The soldiers meet with enemies eye to eye but they don't give up or surrender to the enemy but what do they do they fight till the last minute until they defeat the enemy.Neither time ,the day  the,weather  will prevent them from overpowering the enemy.
The soldiers miss the dates ,the wedding anniversaries with their wives and husbands ,the get together with family members,weddings,graduation days for their children and outings with their children.They are never home because duty calls .For the families of our great heroes I want to say thank you for accepting either your son ,daughter,son ,brother ,sister,husband or wife to be in the armed forces.For I know it is never easy not seeing them or hearing from the, for months .Thank you also for the love and affection that you give to them when they come home with post traumatic stress disorder .You help them heal their wounds because it takes courage .
Our armed forces keep on with the good spirit and the great work .

WORLD AIDS DAY.

World aids day is celebrated every year all over the world on 1 st  of December to raise the public awareness about AIDS (Acquired Immuno Deficiency Syndrome). AIDS is a pandemic disease caused due to the infection of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV). The day is celebrated by the government organizations, NGOs, civil society and other health officials by organizing the speeches or forums discussion related to the AIDS.  World Aids Day 2018 would be celebrated at Saturday, on 1 st   of December.
